Music Coordinator - position open

We are seeking a part-time Music Coordinator. The twent-hour-per-week position includes planning hymns and other music for morning worship in cooperation with the Senior Pastor, playing piano in accompaniment to the hymns, working with the Choir Director in facilitating and accompanying choir performances, and directing the Children's Choir. Facility in organ or other instrument is of interest but is not required. There is opportunity for work in handbells. Benefits include paid vacation, membership in appropriate organizations, and some continuing education support.

We have a tradition of excellence in music at DPC, highlighting diverse genres and a spirit of creativity.

 

Our congregation has 327 active members, with an average Sunday attendance of 160. We have a beautiful Baldwin grand piano in excellent condition and a Rodgers organ which was brand new when installed in 2002.
